Jean Pierre is a cybersecurity and data privacy professional with over seven years of experience in the financial sectors & public sectors. He is the Founding President of the ISC2 Rwanda Chapter and holds globally recognized certifications, including CISSP, CIPM, CIPP/E, and ISO/IEC 27001, 27701, and 42001 Lead Implementer. He currently serves as Manager of IT and Systems Compliance at the Rwanda Social Security Board, where he ensures that personal data is processed lawfully and securely. He is also an Advisory Board Member at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). In addition, Jean Pierre contributes as an ISC2 Exam Development Volunteer and is the author of an IEEE-published paper titled “Analysis of Security & Privacy Challenges in IoT.” He is committed to advancing cybersecurity and data privacy through professional excellence, thought leadership, and community engagement.

Robert Ford Nkusi is an ICT policy and digital governance expert with over 20 years of experience advancing Africa’s digital transformation. He has advised governments, international organizations, and private sector alliances across East Africa on e-government, cross-border mobile financial services, and digital economy frameworks. Robert currently serves as President of the Rwanda Software Testing Qualifications Board (RWSTQB) and is a Board Member of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB), where he contributes to global standards in software quality and AI governance. A former Vice-Chair of AFRINIC, Africa’s Internet Numbers Registry, Robert has played a leading role in shaping Internet governance and digital policy at regional and global levels. He has worked on flagship initiatives including the Northern Corridor One Network Area, the Rwanda Broadband Policy, and digital trade integration within the EAC. Passionate about inclusive innovation, Robert continues to champion the role of technology in building accountable, secure, and future-ready societies across Africa.

He has delivered 100+ innovation projects spanning AI, cloud, data platforms, and cybersecurity for high-growth startups, enterprise, and impact organizations. Tim specializes in scaling products in low-data, mobile-first environments and building cross-border payments, analytics, and automation capabilities. He advises founders and boards on technology strategy, organization design, and measurable impact, and has helped teams raise capital, de-risk scale-up, and accelerate time-to-value.

Patrick Ntwali is currently the Tech Lead at AzamPay Rwanda, a payment fintech under the Azam Group. With approximately eight years of industry experience, Patrick has worked across diverse sectors including fintech, banking, insurance, e-commerce, and fast fashion. His career spans global markets across North America and Europe, and he is now focused on developing technology solutions exclusively for the African continent. Patrick has extensive experience building scalable applications for millions of users and possesses a deep understanding of cloud technologies, team governance, and AI solutions.

I am a dedicated Information Security Professional with strong experience in cyber risk management, IT security auditing, and digital resilience. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Equity Bank, I focus on safeguarding systems, strengthening cybersecurity frameworks, and promoting a culture of security awareness. Passionate about mentorship and leadership, I actively guide young professionals and employees to build their cybersecurity knowledge and leadership potential. My goal is to create secure, resilient, and people-driven digital environments.

Mrs. Anatole has more than 17 years of experience in ICT fields establishing and managing IT projects. More specifically 10 years focusing on IT Security domains. She is IT and cyber security subject matter expert in number of areas including but not limited to establishment and operationalization of e-government projects, establishment and operationalization of CERT/SOC and PKI. Development and implementation of IT strategy, information Security strategy and Cyber Attack Recovery Plan (CARP), Security regulation,, Policies, procedures, processes and plans. She holds a Master of Science degree and number of international certifications

Noella is the head of business applications in bank of kigali, supporting all non-core applications of the bank such as ERP, credit management systems, and other internal applications that support automation of internal processes. Noella joined bank of Kigali in January 2020 leading the ERP project implementation under the Aheza transformation program. After successful implementation of the ERP project, she was promoted to support the remaining projects implementations under the program as the deputy program director of Aheza. She has a strong experience in worldwide known ERP systems (sap, oracle and ifs) with extensive project management and business applications implementation skills as well as consultancy capabilities in different industries, both public and private. Noella also previously occupied senior information and technology positions within different institutions both in private and public sector, including energy, investment companies and software development and implementations companies. She has also served as board member in financial sector organization and is currently a board member in one of the local insurance company.

Her work sits at the intersection of AI, data protection and governance, focusing on how emerging technologies can be adopted securely. Joy is particularly passionate about helping organizations in emerging markets navigate the balance between rapid innovation and effective regulation, championing resilient, trusted and inclusive digital ecosystems for the future.

She specializes in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and aligning security strategies with business objectives to enhance organizational resilience.
