The Future of Money
Is Built on Bitcoin
Bitcoin Nairobi Conference 2026 is where Africa's Bitcoin builders, educators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and communities come together to learn, collaborate, and shape the future of Bitcoin on the continent. It's an independent, Africa-led gathering bringing together policymakers, developers, entrepreneurs, educators, businesses, investors, community leaders, and everyday users to explore Bitcoin's growing role in society and the opportunities it presents for Africa.
Taking place from 24–26 June 2026 at the ASK Dome, Jamhuri Park, Nairobi, the conference is built on the belief that Bitcoin is no longer simply an emerging technology—it is already being used, built upon, taught, and studied across the continent. The conference seeks to provide a platform where the people and organizations driving this progress can connect, learn from one another, share experiences, and collaborate on solutions that increase Bitcoin's value and utility within African communities.
Advancing Bitcoin Circular Economies
Kenya has emerged as one of Africa's leading hubs for grassroots Bitcoin adoption. Communities such as AfriBit Kibera, Bitcoin Chama, BTC Biashara, BTC Githurai, BTC Babies, and others are demonstrating how Bitcoin can be earned, spent, and saved within local economies. These circular economy initiatives are creating practical examples of how Bitcoin can strengthen local commerce, support entrepreneurship, improve financial access, and encourage economic participation.
What We Hope to Achieve
Bitcoin Nairobi Conference 2026 seeks to strengthen the growing Bitcoin ecosystem in Africa by bringing together the diverse stakeholders shaping its future. The conference aims to:
Showcase practical Bitcoin use cases and successful circular economies already operating in African communities.

Foster collaboration and partnerships that continue beyond the conference and result in tangible projects and initiatives.
Share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices from across Africa and the global Bitcoin ecosystem.
