The 2026 Young Scientists Kenya National Science and Technology Exhibition is guided by the theme “Shaping Kenya’s AI Future Using STEM.” This year, students are invited to explore how Artificial Intelligence, grounded in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), can influence innovation and drive Kenya’s technological advancement.
Shaping Kenya's AI Future
Using STEM
As AI continues to transform the way the world thinks, creates, and solves problems, participants are encouraged to create impactful and innovative projects that demonstrate creativity, critical thinking, and technical skill. The exhibition empowers young innovators to turn ideas into solutions that can shape Kenya’s AI future. With over 1,500 abstracts submitted, we have evaluated the abstracts and identified 700+ projects that will compete to be showcased among the finalists in August in Nairobi.
